Coda Calypso Coda (born DAN Gross) began his music education early, on the piano. Already able to read music in treble and bass clef, in his school years he started playing trumpet and french horn which he continued all the way through the collegiate level. Because of his love for music and drive to learn modern technique, he taught himself to play guitar. In college he studied music and audio recording. He then began teaching. When a student wanted to learn an instrument he was not familiar with, he taught himself ukulele. Finally when his band needed another singer Coda stepped up and trained his Voice. He now plays guitar, keys and sings in The Changing Octave.
